Diskusi Panel KMBAAA Hadirkan 60 Makalah Moderasi Beragama
Bandung (Balitbang Diklat)--- Konferensi Moderasi Beragama Asia Afrika dan Amerika Latin (KMBAAA) menjadi tonggak penting. Di satu sisi sebagai ajang konferensi akademik, dan di sisi lain menjadi pengingat spirit solidaritas Bangsa Asia Afrika dan Amerika Latin.
Kepala Balitbang Diklat Kemenag Suyitno menjelaskan bahwa KMBAAA mengangkat tema Religion And Humanity. Konferensi digelar pada 20-22 Desember 2023 dengan mengundang pemakalah terpilih untuk memaparkan hasil penelitian mengenai moderasi beragama.
“Konferensi Moderasi Beragama Asia-Afrika dan Amerika Latin memberikan ruang bagi akademisi untuk memaparkan hasil penelitian yang berkaitan dengan moderasi beragama. Dari 686 abstrak yang diterima, terpilih 60 makalah untuk dipaparkan pada sesi diskusi paralel,” ujar Kaban di Bandung, Kamis (21/12/2023).
Menurut Kaban, penguatan moderasi beragama diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi global dalam upaya perdamaian dunia. Oleh karena itu, ia mendorong moderasi beragama sebagai gerakan wawasan global untuk mengatasi konflik yang masih terjadi.
“Semoga dengan terselenggaranya KMBAAA dapat memperkuat dan menumbuhkan literasi dalam spirit solidaritas kehidupan yang damai. Pola pikir tersebut perlu ditumbuhkan kembali guna meraih berbagai harapan ke depan,” katanya.
